The Town of Macedon is in the process of preparing
a comprehensive plan.

What is a comprehensive plan?

A comprehensive plan expresses the community’s vision for the future regarding land conservation and development, infrastructure, and community services. A set of policies and specific strategies and recommended actions will help the Town to achieve the collective vision. The Comprehensive Plan will guide the Town Board in updating zoning and other local laws, allocating resources in the annual budget, and aligning Town actions with the adopted policies.

By engaging residents, businesses, landowners, and government and organizational partners, the planning process helps to bring people together and build support for the Town’s highest priority policies and projects.
